Potty Trained!!!

Its official. Savannah is fully potty trained "big girl". She has been talking and working at it here and there for quite some time.  Before visiting North Carolina last week we told Savannah we were throwing out her diapers when we got home. So Sue and Savannah have spent the past week at home working on the potty routine.

After a week of working at it Savannah has finally filled up her "potty chart".  She is very proud of herself and excited to be doing more big girl things.  Savannah was also really excited for her reward for filling up her potty chart.  She earned a daddy-daughter date to Monkey Joe's, aka "the jumping place", and a special dinner of her choice (Chick-Fil-A) of course.

Crazy fun sliding

We finished the evening with a Chick-Fil-A dinner at the mall, complete with new Veggie Tales CD which we had to listen to on the way home. The only short drama for the evening was running into the 7' tall cow mascot at Chick-Fil-A.  Savannah panics when she sees oversized animals running around. But after a few minutes of her searching for a dinner alternative I was able to convince the scary cow to hide out in the kitchen until after we ordered. Crisis averted and the celebratory evening continued.  

We are very proud of Savannah and she is very proud of herself as well.
