Stephens visit

Tom's parents came a few weeks ago and we had a great time! The kids LOVED having grandma and grandpa around to play with. The first day they were here, Grandpa fell asleep on the floor upstairs in the playroom and Savannah eventually went up to him and woke him up and told him he was all done sleeping because she wanted to play. I believe Grandpa may have a little girl wrapped around his finger and Savannah may have a grandpa wrapped around hers! We took a trip down to Jacksonville to see Tom's uncle Ed, Aunt Jan and cousin Sarah! I have actually never met Sarah so it was really fun to spend some time with them. We live too close to not make this trip down there happen more often!  One of the big highlights of the trip was the Jacksonville Zoo. The kids had a blast!

We got there at lunchtime so we had a nice picnic there. The weather was really nice so that made it even better!

Isaiah's new trick is to chew his food then spit it out on the ground. Normally he does it to feed Dixie but there was no dog there. It was just fun to do!

Checking out the wildebeast I believe!

Savannah LOVED to ride the train. They actually rode it once then again right before the park closed.

Everybody enjoyed the train!

Great view from the backside of the Zoo!

The Asian garden

A trip anywhere with Grandma and Grandpa would not be complete without a trip to a Merry Go Round.

Check out Savannah's face...... daddy has helped her develop a healthy fear of alligators and crocodiles. She even mentioned about a week later how scared she was. Hillarious.
Savannah feeding the giraffe. I thought she would be terrified but she did really great. It helped that there was a baby giraffe, she loves all things baby!

Isaiah is trying to wear Grandpa's hat. It was hillarious.

She did a grea job petting the goat. I guess we were all right that Grandpa will have to get the farm up and running some day soon!

Thanks for coming Grandma and Grandpa, we had a blast and look forward to our next visit.

Here is a shout out to my side of the family. We saw it in cracker barrel. I had to use the zoom to get it without the people who were sitting at the table. I think they must have thought I was creepy taking a picture of them, ha!
