The beach! When we moved here a few years ago we were excited about being so close to the beach and lately we have taken full advantage of it. We went to the beach twice this week and once last week. I don't have too many pictures but the kids love it! It has been so nice to let the kids enjoy God's beautiful creation with friends while I can spend time the other moms. Tom was able to go with us Saturday and we all had a great times!
Savannah loved the water and decided she really enjoys jumping in the waves, she was so brave!
Isaiah enjoys the tidal pools
Ellie enjoyed her car seat for a nap. She has slept almost the entire time we have been at the beach lately so it has worked out well. It is quite a good place for a nap!

In other news, our first crew of baby birds are all gone. It only took about 3 weeks from when they hatched to when they were gone. Our second crew of 4 have all hatched and we have a new crew of 3 new eggs in the wings. Word must have gotten out. As you can tell the nest did not help our fern since it is hard to water with the babies in there. I have been thinking about our baby birds a lot lately and there are a lot of similarities you can draw. It seems like such a short time from when they are born to when you are gone and off on their own. It also seems like the caring of the babies take a toll on the home, but the babies are ALWAYS worth it. I am so thankful for the Lord's provision for our little ones even as we pray and prepare for them to leave the nest one day (thankfully not in 3 weeks). I am very aware of our important responsibility to raise our kids up in the knowledge and understanding of the Lord, His Word and His Grace. Thankful and grateful for our sweet ones tonight.
