Summer swimmers

Savannah and Isaiah have been taking swim lessons at the city pool for the past 2 weeks. Tomorrow is the last day and they have done amazing! Last year after 2 rounds of swim lessons Savannah would put her head in the water for a few seconds and claimed she was swimming. Isaiah clung to the woman teaching his lesson and cried the whole time on day 1 and never returned. This year they have made HUGE progress. I put a few videos below so you can see how well they are doing. Savannah is actually putting her face in the water and doing the freestyle stroke (even in the deep end). Isaiah puts his face in the water and swims under the water kicking furiously. Ellie would love to get in the water but lets be honest, she sinks to the bottom so we will aim for doing them next year since the lessons start at 3. We also went to Hilton Head for the weekend this past weekend (its so awesome to have generous friends who let you stay at their condo right near the beach for free!). Ellie played in the "kitty cat" pool and loved it. We spent the weekend going back and forth between the beach, the pool and the condo to eat and rest. It was lots of fun and great family time. We topped off the weekend by staying late Sunday night to watch the US play soccer in the world cup. If only the tie was a win! Enjoy the pictures. The first ones at from Hilton Head.

Enjoying a little Hilton Head diner dinner. Tom loves diner food!

A little breakfast on the porch
We saw a gator in the lagoon where Tom and Isaiah were fishing. He was pretty calm!

 Daddy caught a fish

Just a few silly pictures of our silly ones during Savannah's swim lessons.
