After exactly 40 weeks, or so they say, we welcomed little Caroline Hope Stephens to the world this morning, October 12, at 2:50 in the morning weighing in at 8 pounds 14.5 ounces. Once this little girl decided she was coming she wasted no time. We got to the hospital with (a little) time to spare, the doctor got here just in time and Caroline came right on time.
Everyone is doing very well. Caroline loves to eat and sleep. She has been so calm and content so far. The other kids were surprised to not find us at home this morning and very excited to come meet and hold their sister. Ellie was also interested in poking, rubbing and squeezing her sister. They all were wondering when she would wake up. Soon enough, soon enough. Without further ado, here are the pictures.
