A little bit of this and a little bit of that.....

We have had a pretty busy week around here. We have been on the go every day. Monday night we had friends over for dinner and then Tom and Michael went to Richmond Hill to get a new bed for Savannah. Some good friends are moving to Charlottesville and we got a twin bed from them. Their little girl's name is Savannah as well! More pics to come from that transition....  Tuesday we had our first ever Cross Culture reading day with the kids from the neighborhood around our church. It went pretty well! Tonight is our regular Cross Culture Bible Study with the kids and I am making my  mom's lasagna, yummy! Savannah has also been to VBS all week at a church down the street from ours. I think she has been having fun and learning a lot (and eating lots of sugar). She has liked the adventure and Isaiah and I have been enjoying some mommy/Isaiah time. Let's just say I really miss Savannah though, I almost cried Monday morning! We have also just been enjoying family time, gotta love that!

We have also been doing lots and lots of reading. They are both super excited to sit down and look at a book (Isaiah not quite as long as Savannah). I love reading with them and helping them get a glimpse into more than just their little reality!

Isaiah brought this Bible, book and a pen into the bathroom this morning for some study time. The ESV Study Bible is awesome! The book is Radical by David Platt (another awesome book, challenging but so important). I love that he brought a pen!

Here is a video of Isaiah. He is really trying to say some new things lately. Most of it only Tom and I can understand but it's still cute. I LOVE the intonation in his voice when he tries to say flower, so sweet.
