A weekend away.....

Well ok not really we just had a great staycation weekend here for Martin Luther King Jr. weekend!  We stayed in on Saturday as it was chilly and we got some great family time playing, enjoying some good books and just lovin' on each other. Monday was Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday and we spent the day together since Tom had the day off.

 We went to the MLK parade which we all enjoyed!

 Our own little band started up following the parade. Everyone wanted to play and instrument and march around the yard. It was adorable.

 Monday afternoon we went to Fort Pulaski for free National Parks weekend!

 We toured the fort then went on the trail out to the lighthouse

 Check out Savannah's face. She was afraid of being on top of the fort since there wasn't a wall on one side.
