Ellie did have a big morning with her first nap in the crib!
Ellie's big sister chose this outfit for her and I took a few quick pictures while Tom and the kids went to Target.
One of the things acquired at Target was a new sleeping bag for Isaiah. Why would Isaiah need a sleeping bag you say???
For the Sandgnats game! Ok so maybe not but it was Dollar Monday and Tom took the kids. Let's just say Isaiah has been asking about Gnate the Gnat since the end of last season. He was sooo excited to go to the game. He even has his t-shirt and hat on (Christmas presents).
They ran into some friends from church and Savannah loved being able to sit and play with her friend Mikayla!
Isaiah even let daddy hold him for a picture with Gnate the Gnat. He has been talking about it alll day long today!
Here is the real reason a sleeping bag was needed. Tom and the kids went camping in the backyard. The kids were sooo excited and probably didn't get to sleep until around midnight after coming home late from the baseball game. Tom said he woke up at one point and Isaiah was jumping on the air mattress playing "up the ball" aka throw a pretend baseball in the air as if you were a Sandgnats player. Tom said this was around midnight.
By morning, Isaiah was tuckered out. Tom and Savannah came out to eat breakfast on the picnic table and apparently when Isaiah woke up he panicked because he thought daddy and Savannah left him.
The wildlife aka Dixie enjoying the camping. Savannah did mention bears again but I think she was pretty confident that there weren't any beats out to eat her this time.
Breakfast on the picnic table.
These might be from Sunday but Ellie had her first bath. Savannah and Isaiah each wanted to help with bathing her even if just for a quick second. They are so sweet with her.
Today I went to get her up from her nap and this is how I found her. She really really wanted to get her arm out of her swaddle but couldn't do it without moving the whole thing. It was hillarious.
Overall it has been a good start to the week. Daddy did have to go into work for a half day today and at least a half day tomorrow and Thursday so we shall see how things go without our Daddy rock at home to keep us all together. I keep saying this transition to 3 has been pretty easy but it's because Tom has been home to help me! Ellie has also been sleeping well which helps me out a TON. I actually have to wake her up at night to feed her. It is usually 4-5+ hours in between feedings at night so I am thanking God for the great sleeper she is so far!

Wonderful post - what a happy group! The picture of Ellie trying to get her arm out reminds me of going in to see Savannah when she was sleeping as a baby and she would be under the bumper. Not sure why this reminds me of that, but it's just something quirky for Ellie like Savannah's bumper!
Also love the new profile pic on this site! Cute, cute.
