Our first full day home as a family of 5

Well, we made it home and have survived the first day and a half. Ellie slept super well last night and we are hoping this is a sign of more to come. We just hung around the house and enjoyed each other today. Tom is doing an AWESOME job of being daddy who plays, cleans, cooks and takes care of mommy. Here are some pictures. Sorry there isn't much text but we are heading to bed again soon!

Here we are all loaded up in the van!

Savannah and daddy made some chalk art for Ellie when we got home. Unfortunately it rained shortly after they did it and they had to redo it again today!

Savannah is such an awesome big sister, helping out, watching Ellie, attending to her every need and of course holding and reading to her. I CAN NOT wait to see what the next 20+ years are going to look like and the bond between these sisters!

Isaiah even wanted a turn to hold her, he is very gentle with her and interested in checking her out often!

Sunglasses were part of their gift bags from Ellie, they both really liked them!
Oh and we have napped some. During the kids nap today Ellie, daddy and I all got a nap in. So far we are well rested but we know this is probably short lived. I will thank the Lord for the rest now and pray for strength later!
Oh and we had a birthday cake for daddy. Look at all those candles. I for one am glad he finally hit 30 so I don't feel so much older than him anymore.

Of course, I love all of the pictures and commentary. Also, I'm impressed with the cake!! When did you have time to make it? If it was today, you are amazing!
