I'm sure our babies will grow up too fast but for now we're talking about our baby birds living in the ferns on the front porch. Mama bird sure was smart. We see the neighborhood cats prowling around all the time but the nest is safe and secure in the hanging basket. We're taking bets on when they will leave the nest.

We saw some wings flapping in the ferns on May 22.
Are these considered toddler birds?
