Its beginning to look a lot like...

It really is beginning to look a lot like Christmas, regardless of the temperature outside.  We have been around town looking at Christmas lights while drinking milk shakes as opposed to hot chocolate.  We've seen the awesome gingerbread house creations at the Christmas village across the Savannah River.  Just last Thursday, we held our annual Cross Culture Family Christmas Dinner at church with over 85 parents and volunteers in attendance.  It was a great time of eating and celebrating together with the families of the kids we serve each week.  Then this past weekend Sue and the kids (mostly Sue) made over 350 cookies for all of our neighbors on our block, and a few other families in our neighborhood.  It has become a Christmas tradition for our family and apparently many of the neighbors have come to expect it as well. Savannah and Isaiah were treated to a Christmas movie at one SCAD's theaters downtown.  And after all that Christmas cheer, we took Sunday afternoon just as family time and enjoyed playing at the beach together.
