Don't worry, Caroline isn't crawling yet, (although if she were we might be in the world record books), we are heading out in the morning for a new Stephens family adventure. We packed and de-cluttered, packed some more, threw out bags and bags of trash, packed some more and finally cleaned a lot. We have literally loaded down the Jeep and the van and are heading out for Louisville in the morning. Tom is taking the three oldest in the Jeep and they are all pretty excited (the kids love Daddy's Jeep). Caroline and I are taking the rest of the stuff including all of my random bags of random things. We are somewhat healthy and ready to go. Caroline got the flu and I ended up in the ER with her at midnight Christmas Eve so technically we spent Christmas morning in the ER. When we got there her fever was 103.9 an hour and a half after taking Tylenol. She scared us a bit but they just said, yes she has the flu and gave her Tylenol. I was already doing that so it was a bit frustrating and expensive. We prayed and prayed and so did others and by the morning of the 26th she was fever free and smiling at everyone. Tom started feeling bad Friday and is doing ok with cold/flu medicine so we are praying we are on the upswing and everyone is feeling better once we get to Kentucky. Needless to say it has been a crazy few weeks. Since we were sick we didn't get to say goodbye to most of our friends here the way we wanted, which has been sad, but I guess we will just have to come back to visit sooner rather than later.
We have truly been blessed with a community of love and support here and it is extremely sad to leave. Our kids have made friends and we have benefited from that by growing to love the parents of the kids' friends. It truly feels like leaving family and we are sad. It's easy to say that the Lord will provide community and fellowship in a new place (which we know He will), but people can't be replaced. Savannah, Community Bible Church and Cross Culture will always feel like home and we hope to come home to visit soon!
We will try to get a few pics of the journey and do an update by the end of the week. We are excited to see our temporary home for the next few months and feel confident that the Lord is going before us and will protect us as we travel and get settled. I will turn 34 on Wednesday and look forward to the new year for me and our family. Happy New Year everyone!

So excited for you guys!! Praying for safe travels:) did your house sell???
Thank you for your Christmas card, it is on our Christmas tree (place of honor..not everyone's card makes it on to the tree !!) I look at your sweet and handsome faces as I pass by it. Tonight is our first CC without you :-( I feel in my heart God has created a good team to carry on His work. You and Tom laid the foundation, and now it is time for others to build upon that solid foundation. Love the glimpses of Louisville, how exciting for the kids...new experiences !! Please send me your PO Box, as I would like to keep up with the kiddo's birthdays, etc. Thinking of you all everyday !! Hugs on everyone...praying for success for Tom. Love, Miss Pam
