On a short note, and perhaps the last "catch up" post. Tom is off of the crutches and out of the walking boot. Of course the leg is still broken but in six weeks all hopefully will be well. Due to the fact that the fibula does not bear a great amount of body weight it is now possible to walk normally. Though the walking is a bit shaky it feels likes a whole new world. And while the doctor said to take it easy for a while we thought the best course of action would be to head down to Belle Isle and the James River for a personal day of relaxation and enjoying the great outdoors. Its hard not to take advantage of 70 degree weather while family in Indiana were getting snow. Sorry 'bout ya. Again, feel free to come down anytime.
