So, Savannah and I are still in Richmond and Tom has left with all of our stuff and has successfully moved int0 the house in Savannah, GA. Tom and our friend Justin Hormel left last Saturday morning and he started work this past Monday. Needless to say we are all miserable without each other and ready for this next week to hurry by. Savannah and I are surviving with a pack n play, air mattress, some clothes, a booster seat, a camping chair and a microwave! Our friends Justin, Ashley and Wiley have been very sweet and let us hang out over there at night to keep us from being so bored! I have one week of work left then we are heading down to Savannah to stay for good! We are excited about the move, sad to leave our friends but excited to be with Tom and Dixie and settle in. My grandmother has been in the hospital up here in Virgina this week and will have a pace maker put in next Monday so Savannah and I might try to make it up there to see her this weekend if we can get it worked out! Please pray for the surgery as she is 91 years old and has been in very good health and does not like the hospital! Ok, so for the fun stuff........ Savannah is now 8 months old!!

Here is a cute picture of her new standing skills! I attempted to take some pictures of her at Maymont Park, we wanted to enjoy the park before we left and she is so cute! Hard to take good pictures when you are by yourself with her though! She is eating lots of good foods now, she has been crawling for about a month really well and immediately wanted to pull up to stand. She stands for 30 seconds to a minute all the time and I thought I may even has seen her try to take a step the other day! She is so big! We are working on saying "dog" and I really think she is saying it now! Our friend Annie who has been watching Savannah while I am at work said she heard her say clear as day "one" yesterday while they were counting! She discovered how to play peek a boo at the grocery store last night! She is definately going to love grocery shopping when she gets bigger that is the one thing that she has always loved to do and she first started clapping about 6 weeks ago in the grocery store! She is sleeping very well in the pack n play this week (for those of you who don't know, Savannah has an obsession with the bumper of her crib and has a very hard time sleeping anywhere else when she doesn't have the bumper to cuddle up to). Last night she finally slept all night again in the pack n play which says a lot for her. She does have the bumper in there though although no tied to anything!

We also had her dedication at church on April 30 and we were blessed by all of my mom's side of the family coming from NC and different parts of VA to support us. Savannah wore the baptismal gown that I wore when I was a baby although she barely fit in it!

We went to Ashley's parents house after the dedication for a fun time of food, fellowship and playing with babies! They both did very well for the dedication, Wiley was asleep for the beginning but he woke up for the good part! We are really going to miss Justin, Ashley, Wiley and Willow, we all found good friends in their family and we hope to be able to stay in touch with them and other friends from Richmond and hopefully get up here to visit soon! Ok, so I should probably do some work now but just wanted to give an update about how things are going with us and our move to Savannah. Miss Savannah you are on your way to Savannah!
