Stephens in Savannah

Well for a short period of time there were even more Stephens in Savannah than normal. Tom's brother Dave and his wife Jackie came down for a visit last weekend and we had a great time with them. The weather was PERFECT with sunny skies in the 70's so we really got to get out and enjoy the Savannah (city) that we love. Savannah (child) also really warmed up to her aunt and uncle and had a ball entertaining them. We spent Saturday morning at Forsyth park where the fountain is currently green for St. Patrick's day and we even saw a wedding in progress at the fountain complete with bright green bridesmaids dresses. We came home for lunch and then spent the rest of the day down on River Street and walking around some of the squares. We didn't realize until we were down there that it was the first saturday of the month which means they had a big art festival down there and a huge boat show on Hutchinson Island. Not to mention that as it gets closer to St. patrick's day the busier the city gets. Sunday we had a great service at church and came home for lunch and a nap. We then headed out to Tybee and had a ball. Savannah went into the water a little but discovered the joy of playing in the sand! She made such a mess but loved it. She even discovered it is more fun to tear down the sand castles than build them which dissapointed Tom who was the architect. We enjoyed a quick dinner on the pier and made it home just in time for bed and some good quality adult talking time. We really appreciated the effort it took Dave and Jackie to get here and get home and we look forward to seeing them again soon hopefully! We actually didn't get too many pictures over the weekend but Jackie did and hopefully we will be able to share those soon so we can post a few more cute pictures on here.

So I know you aren't supposed to stand on graves out of respect but Savannah didn't quite understand that concept.

Some sweet moments reading before bed with Aunt Jackie and Uncle Dave. Uncle Dave taught Savannah how to make a monkey noise and act it out and she has been working on perfecting it all week. You should hear her pig noise, hillarious!

In other news today was our 20 week ultrasound! Everything looks good for baby duece. You can look forward to a future post about the sex of the baby as we don't know ourselves yet. We decided to get the tech to write it down for us and we will look at it tonight probably after some yummy desert and quality time together praising God for the beautiful and healthy children He has blessed us with.
