Funtimes in the Stephens household

So this past weekend Tom decided to work on another bed in the front to plant some lettuce and help with the LARGE amounts of water runoff that occurs when it rains so he got out his tools and went to work. Savannah thought he needed a little help. She had such a great time playing with her shovel but quickly realized it is more fun to use your hands to fill your bucket. She then decided the bucket was much more fun as a hat (don't worry she dumped the dirt out before doing this, she doesn't enjoy mess that much!) She really enjoyed helping and I think Tom really enjoyed having his little girl out there with him.

It seems like we have been pretty busy lately, I have had a few dental appointments to work on a crown and a dr. appt. last week and Savannah has her 18 month appt. today so we will see how well she is doing. It has been somewhat of a challenge for me to schedule all these appts. as we don't really have anyone to watch Savannah but we have gotten it worked out so far and are very grateful for the help from our friends at church. For those of you who are wondering I don't go to the cardiologist until the 20th so it will be a few weeks until we have an update on how things are going. No worries though the Lord is protecting us! Here are a few more cute picture of Savannah.

Just reading up on some health insurance information.

She decided that baba needed to ride on Loco the lion. It has been amazing to see her really starting to roll play more lately. She has really started communicating a lot to us as well. She uses a lot of different words and is starting to put 2-3 words together. Each day she is amazing us more and more.

She was playing and thought baba might enjoy a turn as well.
