More detail on updates

So, let me add some info to our updates (I was holding Isaiah the other day and it takes a realllly long time to type while trying to keep him away from the computer!). We have been busy! I am watching Nicky full-time and I have started working part-time at our church as the Director of Children's Education.  I am in charge of all the nurseries and Sunday school until 5th grade.  It has been busy because it is a transition time there with directors, workers, number of children in each class, number of new families in the church, new schedules and a new class starting this weekend hopefully!

Tom has started taking classes at Savannah Tech in Historic Preservation & Restoration and is excited about the hands on nature of the program.  Tom has also been working really hard at the Wednesday night youth ministry at church (Cross Culture) for the neighborhood kids from age 4-18.  They have seen some fruit beginning to bud I think (finally after 8 months) and one of the kids even prayed to receive Christ in Sunday School this past week which was HUGE!!! God has been so faithful providing love for the kids, workers who love them as well and the time to plan and pour into the fertile hearts of these little ones.  Aside from all of that, Tom is continuing to go to the Youth Detention Center at least once a week (sometimes twice) to do a bible study for the youth locked up there.  He and six other guys have been installed as a deacon at our church this week.  We continue to grow and need the servant hands.

All of that being said, God is so amazing! We are broken, sinful people and He uses us, not sure why but He does! He has provided for our family and our needs and we are so grateful for that but more than anything He has given us Jesus. Jesus paid the price for us and brought us back into a relationship with the loving Creator. All of these actions of "ministry"  is all just our outpouring of love and praise back to the Father who deserves all the glory and honor! Truly, our entire lives are our ministry. We're just humbled that God would choose to use us in all of our shortcomings.  So, that is our continued update! Be blessed and know that you are loved by God today!
