Aspiring careers???

 Well as we all know Savannah is a girl and Isaiah is a boy. What I bet you did not know is that lately Savannah has become more and more girly and Isaiah has become more and more boyish. I know again another shocker as that would be the natural progression of their personalities. Well, last week Savannah got a box. Not just any box but a big box in the mail. We were not expecting anything but we have come to LOVE to surprise gifts from my aunt Jan and uncle Lulu. This was the box to end all surprise boxes! After Savannah woke up from her nap we opened it to find lots and lots of ballet things. There were shoes, leotards, shirts, dance outfits, hats, accessories and much more. Savannah was in love. We went to church the next night so she could "tap tap" with her new tap shoes. She also decided to try most of it on at once because she loved it so. Hilarious.

I thought I would also post a picture of sweet Isaiah with his tool box. As I said above he is becoming quite the boyish little guy. Savannah isn't as interested in the tool box anymore which is GREAT since Isaiah carries it around all day and works on his projects. One of his latest projects has been to put things (read anything he can get his hands on) into containers. What containers you may ask. Well, the toilet, the diaper pail, the trash can, the recycling container just to name a few. Tonight in Isaiah's dirty cloth diaper pail I found a pair of Savannah's shoes, a pair of Isaiah's shoes and a dirty disposable diaper. Hilarious. As you can tell I laugh at my kids most of the day. 

Hi ho, hi ho, it's off to work I go.......

He is turning into a little boy right in front of our eyes. It's amazing.

As you can see, we might have a ballerina on our hands and a construction worker. I can't wait to see where the Lord is going to take these two precious lives. Thank you Lord for creating such wonderful children that you knit together with such precision, thought and love. We are humbled to parent them and teach them of your goodness and love but we also pray daily for the wisdom it will take to help Savannah became a woman who loves the Lord with eagerness, fervor and passion; and for Isaiah to be a man who will be willing to lay down his life for his Lord and Savior's glory. What a mighty task that we can only accomplish with your help and grace. Praise you Lord Jesus.
