Let's do a little catching up shall we....

So I know it's almost Christmas but I have to catch everyone up on what has been happening here in Savannah for the past ohh say month or so. Last you heard from us we ran a half (and haven't really run much since) and we had taken a great trip to VA to watch the leaves. Geesh, where has the time gone. Now there are Christmas light everywhere and lots of preparations for Jesus' birthday! Let's do some picture catch up.....

Happy Thanksgiving!

We stayed in town for Thanksgiving and Tom was supposed to have his wisdom teeth removed the following day until he get laringitis (sp.?) so we moved it back. We had already cooked a turkey on Wed. (it was fully defrosted and waiting to be cooked in the fridge). Sooo we packed some good ole' leftover turkey sandwiches and did what every southerner should do..... we headed to the beach. The weather was beautiful with 80's and sun. The kids ran around in their bathing suits and had a great time.  We relaxed and took in the beauty of the Lord's creation.

July or November ?????

Savannah still doesn't enjoy the ocean and surf but put some water in a hole and the child has a blast.  Hillarious!
Isaiah on the other hand wanted to run into the waves at first then was humbled by the tide. He still loved every minute of it.
Savannah found this cool tree branch and we played a game of climb the branch and rescue the princess over and over. She is really into pretend play right now!

Let's go....

We have been pretty busy lately with Cross Culture (the inner city kids ministry we run at our church), the Children's ministry, small group, etc. We have really been enjoying this time of serving the Lord through cooking/hosting several events a couple of nights each week. It's cool to see the Lord get the Glory and Honor He deserves on a regular basis and to be a part of it. Amazing!

For those of you who want to get something for Isaiah this Christmas.... don't go too overboard. He dumped all the blocks out the other day so he could walk around with the container on his head. He did this over and over again......
We see you...

They have really been loving each other lately. Isaiah loves to come up and climb on Savannah to give her a hug. It just melts a mom's heart!

****Just a warning.... the following pics might be the cutest kids you have ever seen..... (unless you have your own, then it might be the cutest pics of other people's kids you have seen all morning..)

Bathtime bubbles..
Love those smiles..

So I will try hard (read: it might or might not happen) to get better about updates..... we shall see.........
