Thanksgiving across 6 states.....

Well, we are home and finally back to a regular schedule. We have been traveling quite a bit the last few weeks and topped it off with a whirl wind trip for Thanksgiving. We stopped in NC to visit with my family for Thanksgiving day then headed out to Indiana, PA to see Tom's extended family. We haven't been back there since Savannah was about 8 months old so it was great to see family again. We spent a lot of time in the car but it was worth it to have some precious time with lots of great Stephens/Rising family members! We even got our first real Christmas tree from Grandpa's tree farm in Pennsylvania. We loaded it on the car, drove it home and put it up. We love it and it is an awesome family memory for the kids! Just FYI, I took only a few of the pictures below, Andrea Stephens was a photographer for the weekend, thanks Andrea!!!

 Thanksgiving dinner, it was delicious!

 This is what happens when you put a child in his car seat for too long. He took his arm out of the shirt and thought it was quite funny!

 Once we got to PA we headed down to Grandpa's tree farm to pick out our first ever real Christmas tree. We all rode down the hill in Grandpa's truck as we didn't want too many vehicles to scare the deer (or for our van to get stuck!)

 We had the priviledge of staying with Tom's Aunt Carol and Uncle Larry! We had such a great time at their house and they were fabulous hosts!!!

 Savannah was really excited to meet all the cows out at Pap Pap and Uncle John's farm. Turns out they are pretty intimidating up close.....

 Just enjoying the farm, the weather was pretty good, we are thankful for that!
