The beach before the storm

Ok, so we really didn't get any effects from "Sandy" here today as slightly expected, but we did go to the beach yesterday as the storm was heading up the East Coast and we enjoyed a basically empty beach. Savannah had a blast and truly didn't want to leave. Ellie also had a blast and played right through her morning naptime. Look at this face, how can you try to make her nap when she is sooo stinkin' happy playing at the beach.

Isaiah got cold and wanted to curl up in his blanket in the stroller.

Please note alll of the sand around her mouth. She ate and ate and ate. I had a hard time stopping the sand before it was in her mouth.

We finally got a video of her crawling all over the beach. Lets just say if we lived on the beach she would be an even happier girl than she already is.

I loved seeing the pure joy in the kids faces as they ran, played and enjoyed the BEAUTY of God's creation.  God created all of this for His own glory and He allows us to enjoy it as well. Awesome thought!
