What we have been up to....

Well, what have we been up to..... Let's see, last week Savannah and Isaiah (for only 2 days) went to VBS at another church in town. Good fun was had by all (when they went). Isaiah didn't like being away from mommy so he tried it the first day and then went back for the last (because they had bounce houses I think). This week that just ended has been the first week of swim lessons at the city pool up the street from us. Savannah has done pretty well learning new skills and gaining confidence in going under the water more. Isaiah cried the whole first day and did not want to get back in after that. Tom is going to take the kids swimming this afternoon up there so hopefully he might want to swim some next week for the last part of the swim lessons. We shall see.

We enjoyed a good Fathers Day last weekend, well except I have no pictures of it. Tom took the older kids to a Sandgnats game last Sunday after church and we enjoyed a good dinner at home. Tom had given blood at Paula Deen's blood drive and we got a $40 gift certificate to use last weekend at Uncle Bubba's restaurant (a seafood place her brother owns here, its pretty popular). Turns out that restaurant has been in the national news this week with all the Paula Deen drama. It is set on the marsh and has some great views. It is pretty pricey ($33 for the buffet per person, we did not go that route) but we stayed in budget and enjoyed a good evening out for next to nothing.

Tom has been super busy with work this past week so we are all excited for a little break this weekend. Hopefully I will take some pictures and you can see a little more into our lives next week. Here is the only picture we took this week. Ellie has really loved corn on the cob and will clean any ear up you give her.

Here are some videos of daddy's Fathers Day song present the kids wanted to make for him.  Let me warn you only watch if you don't mind kids screaming/singing loudly. Make sure your volume is turned down...

I LOVE the videos!! I especially love that Miss Ellie is right in there with the other 2 making a joyful noise! She certainly takes after her sister theatrically!!
