Here is the real reason I did a blog today. This morning Savannah let me video her doing her memory verses we have been working on for the last month or so. We memorized Ephesians 2:1-10 together and let me tell you this child blows me away. She has such a great memory and really soaks up what she is working on. She barely had to work at it, just hear the verses read and discussed and she had them. WOW. These verses are basically just the Gospel summed up. We were dead in our sins, God loved us and made us alive with him by grace through faith. It is His work on the cross and nothing we have done. He did this so that we might experience His love, kindness and eternity with Him. I am so happy that we get to homeschool and help our children to write God's word on their hearts. I pray that it pierces their hearts and brings them into a relationship with Jesus one day. It's a daily prayer as a parent.

Ephesians 2
Well, we made it almost a month since our last blog, shame on me. Tom asks me frequently if I have done a blog and I have thought about it a lot, just not done anything. Hopefully this weekend we can sit down and do one with some recent happenings. We saw all of Tom's immediate family last weekend and headed down to Jacksonville, FL for his cousin's wedding which was lots of fun.
