This fall Isaiah and Savannah are playing in a league on a team for the first time. Isaiah is playing baseball and Savannah is playing softball. It has been fun but pretty time consuming so far. Isaiah's first game was last night and Tom unfortunately couldn't make it because of work. Savannah's first game is next week. They are so cute making friends and enjoying learning some new things.
Isaiah decided to try catching. The ball was coming at 42 mph and he got pegged quite a bit. He is so little, it is hard for him to see and catch it. He was super excited that he caught the ball 3 times out of the 2 innings he caught. I was so proud of him for trying something hard and sticking with it. How little does he look???
Savannah's team has a scrimmage during practice the other day with another 8 and under team from the same league. She had a ball and has loved playing so far. She is super excited to learn to pitch as well. She even got a hit and scored a run for her team!
We are spending almost every night at the ball fields and they kids love it. Ellie likes to search for friends and Caroline has been doing well just hanging out in the stroller. It is going to be such a fun fall!!
