More Stephens family fun

We have been out and about as usual the past few weeks, enjoying lots of fun new things. We headed to Bernheim Forest a few weeks ago to hike and hang out during the day while daddy was working, we really missed him.

Isaiah has become so proud of himself for doing new and difficult things lately, he climbed this and wanted me to take a picture of him. He also really likes to try new adventurous things, its so fun to raise a little boy who strives to be a strong man.

This little cutie took a nap on mommy one day during Isaiah's swim lessons, she is so sweet.

The view from the house where Tom proposed. I am so thankful he asked and glad I said yes!

We got a few hours away thanks to the Whitlocks for our 11th anniversary and we enjoyed a tandem bike ride along the ohio river. The cool house in the background is where we rented bikes, enjoyed some ice cream and is where Tom proposed almost 12 years ago.
The kids and I went to explore Locust Grove another day to learn some cool history and check another space off of our culture pass. We stepped through the door way of this home that 5 US Presidents have walked into as well. Pretty cool.
Isaiah really enjoyed the "old timey" toys. He was pretty good at the wheel you spin with a stick.
This is the face of a 6 year old. That's right we celebrated Isaiah's birthday a few weeks ago. He is just a sweet, fun kid and we are blessed by him daily.

The tradition of a birthday lunch is LOVED by everyone. Isaiah picked a chicken place. He even had rootbeer to drink and loved it.
Isaiah and Daddy enjoying a Louisville slugger game 2 days after his birthday via the library summer reading program!

We were playing at the park and went to the nearby library for a potty break and discovered a hula hoop class. Savannah loved it.

Savannah and Isaiah get the chance to play baseball and softball this fall thanks to their birthday presents from Grammy and Poppie. They are soooo excited.
We JUST celebrated this beautiful girl turning 8 on Friday. She is incredibly smart and loves to get out and do things. She wants to study dolphins and be a marine biologist when she grows up.
 Birthday lunch with daddy

Savannah has been climbing the rock wall at the YMCA for a while now but Isaiah couldn't because you have to be 6 years old. Well, he is 6 now and he climbed to the TOP of the wall on his first try. He did awesome!

Savannah in a dress she got for her birthday. She said the waiter at the restaurant gave her an adult cup (not the kids cup with a top) because she looked so old and grown up now that she is 8.
