SC trip and other fun activities

We spent this last weekend traveling to SC to visit my grandmother and uncle. My grandmother is trying to sell their townhouse and they needed some help moving things, boxing them up and they had lots of furniture they wanted to give away. We took a cargo van down there so we could bring it home and it is nice. We now have two nice matching dressers in our room and Isaiah officially has a dresser with clean clothes in it. I guess he can come whenever he wants now right?? Just kidding little man, gotta wait about 6 weeks! It was a short trip but good because we got to spend some good time with my grandmother, uncle, aunt Jayne from FL and my dad. Savannah really liked "Great Jayne", "Aunt Jayne" is taken by my sister so we came up with Great Jayne. She especially liked her touch screen blackberry and quickly figured it out. She was making phone calls, taking pictures and enjoying talking on the phone, it was great!

Savannah had a great time with Poppie, she talked about him all weekend!

We stopped in Augusta at the riverwalk for lunch going there and coming home and Savannah loved to run, see the water, play and enjoy being out of the car, it is beautiful!

We have finally been able to convince Savannah to let us put her hair in a ponytail. It isn't for long, usually just a few minutes but we are hoping to build up to longer. Here are some good shots of the ponytail.

Savannah also likes to help water the plants and she is quite good at it as well. Such the little helper, I just hope she is as helpful when Isaiah is around!

On the way home on Sunday, we took a quick detour to my old house in Statesboro, it was not far off the road we were on and I remembered how to get there all by myself. See I can remember things! It was weird to see, the house has changed some like a fenced in background, but overall it was pretty much the same!

We have been trying to sell a couch on craigslist and we aren't sure if it is going to sell now. The other day, Savannah got into the sunscreen and emptied almost the entire full bottle onto herself and the couch so thanks Savannah, you owe us a $100! She was funny though, right when I walked in, she started to rub it in and just looked like a deer in headlights, hillarious!

As you can see, most of the sunscreen ended up on the couch with just a little on Savannah!

We have also been wearing lots of daddy's clothes lately, it is hillarious!

We are heading down to Sea Island this weekend as guests of our friends Matt and Catherine Illian from Richmond and we are exctited to see them and get some time away! Their little boy Jack is about a month older than Savannah and we are excited to let them play together and enjoy the beach and pool together. We will have more fun pictures to post next week!
