Home from the hospital

We finally made it home from Candler Hospital yesterday afternoon. We had expected to be discharge around 11:30 in the morning, but we ended up leaving about 4:00 in the afternoon. Meanwhile, Grammy and Poppie had to head back to North Carolina so Savannah hung out with us at the hospital for most of Tuesday.

For the most part Savannah enjoyed the hospital, even though we were there right through nap time. Since Savannah had her cool sunglasses (compliments of Isaiah) she was quite the celebrity walking around the hallways. While we killed time waiting for Sue to be discharged we also enjoyed a little lunch in the cafeteria, which was Savannah thought was very neat.

At home we are starting to get adjusted to life as a family of four. Dixie is doing ok with the transition and has given Isaiah his first dog kiss. Dixie also returned for a check up at the doctor's today and received a good report. She's putting more weight on the foot and should have the staples removed in a week.

Savannah is doing very well at playing the part of the loving big sister. She loves to give Isaiah kisses and make sure he is covered with a blanket and hat at all times.

Snuggle time with daddy

Lots of time with mommy (nothing new from the last nine months)

Mmmm...hospital food

Coolest big sister this side of the Savannah River on a diaper run.
