So if you know anything about Savannah, this town loves St. Patrick's Day. All we have heard about is numbers, people, big parades, the crazy planning that goes into planning the days events and so on and so forth. Let's just say I haven't jumped on the bandwagon yet. I know I know I am a party pooper but that's just it, it seems to be all about partying. I won't rant on here because I know you want to see pictures of the kids but let's be honest. In order to find out anything around here about St. Patrick you have to go to the old google machine. Enough. I will stop now. Needless to say the kids and I headed to the library this morning instead of the parade. Daddy on the other had joined right in with the city employees to walk in the parade (it was a day of play and not work and they really needed people to help). Don't worry I do have pictures. The theme this year was Grease (as in the movie). Any guesses at the message they were trying to convey with this theme.... Yep, I figured you wouldn't get it. The message was to contain, cool and dispose properly of kitchen grease. Apparently that's a big issue in a town where fried chicken in on the menu everywhere! So daddy dressed in his best 50's attire (pretty simple for men) and headed downtown. We did turn it on to watch on TV so we could see daddy. Savannah was super excited to see daddy dancing..... yes dancing holding a sign about kitchen grease. Hillarious. He at least had a fun day at work! I do have pictures to prove it....
That's right folks..... Keep your pipes Grease Free! Look at those tatoos! Good thing is his real tatoo isn't a shamrock!

The best part of the day is that he got to walk next to "Naz T Butt" as in cigarette butts, HILLARIOUS!
