A little catch up.....

So we have been busy and lots has been happening around here. So let's do a game of catch up, or start one at least....

About a month ago Tom went under the house to check on a few things and found a lake of water where the plumbing from the sink was completely broken and everything was heading straight into our crawl space. Awesome! He worked with a neighbor and fixed the problem (what a great husband he is) then we called our termite people because there were little bugs everywhere down there and termites love wood and water, of which we had lots of both (our house has had termites several times in its 80+ year history. They said yep, we have termites and they would fix it when the water was all dried up. After several weeks of calling and calling they came out yesterday to check it out again before they treated. They sent the regional manager. I guess if you call enough and bother them enough they send out the guys with 30+ years of experience. Well, turns out we DO NOT have termites. Praise God! There are no active termites under our house! God took care of us! Termites are a nasty problem that can literally destroy your house so we are praising God right now!!!!

Daddy ready to take on the lake (we thought there might be sewage and other gross things hence the suit)

We have also been spending some time with Ivy. She is a sweet 6 month old baby that I have been keeping 3-4 days a week since January. Savannah loves to help.
Apparently she loves to squeeze her head too.

It rained. Now that might not seem like a big deal but it hasnt' rained much and Savannah wanted to take a picture. She was proud of this. Jim (Tom's oldest brother) said a few weeks ago when they were here "It's cloudy, I thought it was always sunny in Georgia". So here is proof via Savannah.
Isaiah taking in a little Corrie Ten Boom
Just taking in a few books together. We have been reading a lot lately, Savannah loves it!

Chick fil a    They went through the alphabet and gave away a sandwich to everyone whose last name starts with that letter. They finally reached S.

The BEACH
We had a little Staycation a few weeks ago when Jim, Andrea and Joshua came down. Tom took 3 days off of work and we went to the beach 3 times in a week as well as several parks around town several times, Ellis Square a few times, River St., City Market, etc. We had a great time with them and are so thankful that they had the opportunity to come down and spend a few days with us. We really enjoyed spending perfectly lovely days out in Savannah as well!

Oh how our kids love the tidal pools. We try to plan our trips to find them.
Joshua was unsure about the sand at first but he wore himself out!

Jim and Joshua

Joshua had a blast at the playground. As we talked I realized I don't think we could move somewhere where you can't go to the playground year round. Our kids would be so mad!!!
An attempt at the three cousins together. Let's just say that a 3 1/2 year old, a 20 month old and a 15 month old, dont' like to sit still for long!
This one is super cute though. Everyone thought they were twins when they were in the stroller together. Love it!
Story time before bed.

A few action shots of Isaiah and Savannah, this one is throwing a frisbee.
And throwing the ball. This boy loves to throw things!

Savannah wanted an action shot of her jumping, such a sweet face!

 Get ready......
Go.... Isaiah what happened, no jumping???
Here is a sneak peek at some pictures we took today at Forsyth with the azaelas in bloom. I love this time of year in Savannah, it is so beautiful. If you haven't been here before during this time you should come visit!!!

More to come.......
