No more diapers??

Seriously, how did this happen? Ok, so we aren't all done with diapers, but Ellie decided last week that she wants to be potty trained. She just turned 2 last Friday and I wasn't even thinking about potty training her. Savannah was 2 1/2 and Isaiah was 3 1/2 when they were potty trained. Ellie started asking to go potty last week and I decided not to pursue it much. After she showed little interest over the weekend I thought maybe it just wasn't time yet. Well, after her 2 year old well child appt. yesterday we came home and went potty a lot (thanks to lots of peach tea). She had a wet pull up once or twice during the day and the same has happened today. She definitely doesnt tell me every time, I am still asking her a lot, but she is still pretty engaged in potty training so we shall see (all thanks to the m&m, that child will do anything for candy!)

Its so crazy for me to think she is big enough for this yet. Last night I was thinking about it and just 3 months ago she was still nursing. She also still sleeps in a crib and LOVES her pacifier. She still seems like a little baby to me at times. She loves to call herself a big kid though and I love watching her grow. She is a big giggle box most days, is wild and crazy others and loves to snuggle in my lap and read a book. I just love her!

For her birthday on Friday, we went out for pizza and went to the baseball game. I wasnt sure if she was going to last long, but she lasted for about 3 innings and did well. Our friend Grant, came to hang out with us as well, he specifally asked to hang with Ellie for her birthday! She was cheering and having a great time.

Well, she had a great time until we tried to get a picture with Gnate the Gnat. As usual  a Stephens kid doesn't like Gnate. She was happy until we got close then she lost it. It was hillarious. We love you Ellie and are so excited for how you are growing and changing, you make our life more fun!

in the Gnate the Gnat picture, I love how Isaiah is giving those other children the evil eye, like "this is my Gnate the Gnat, why are you here?!"
