We have been on quite the adventure in Atlanta. Tom has been attending the American Planning Association National Conference Sunday through today (Wed.) and we have been doing all sort of fun things! We left Saturday to come up to Truett-McConnell College to watch a double header baseball game. We have some friends who used to live in Savannah and have moved up here because the husband is the head baseball coach at Truett-MConnell. Its a small private Christian college and Isaiah said he wants to play there when he is older. It seems like a great school!
Sorry this was the only picture I took at the baseball game.
We headed down here to Atlanta Saturday night to check into our hotel room. Our kids love hotels A LOT! We dont watch TV at home and they have PBS here, they love it!
Sunday the kids and I headed out to Sweetwater creek state park (after daddy took everyone on a train ride that morning, the kids think we need a subway/train system in Savannah) to do some hiking and exploring. It was beautiful and lots of fun. Most of these pictures were taken by Savannah and Isaiah.
This is the best picture I could get of all of us. Isaiah was just being silly!
Monday we walked to Piedmont park and played on all the playgrounds we could find. Its a nice big park right in Midtown Atlanta. After several walks and trips out we ended our Monday with another trip to another park to play on the playground with daddy. Tuesday we headed to the Childrens Museum (yeah Groupons) and spent the morning playing there. The kids had a ball. We walked to Centennial Olympic park to meet daddy for lunch at the CNN center.

Could you tell Ellie was tired when we met daddy for lunch?
Last night we just hung out in our hotel room since it was kinda rainy. Today we are doing the aquarium and tomorrow we are all doing the zoo in the morning before heading to Augusta to drop the boys off for a few days of boy camping with friends. Its been a great week so far!

Thanks for sharing some pictures and information about your trip so quickly!! Looks like everyone has had a great time! I especially like Savannah's grocery basket at the museum, because that was her favorite part of the children's museum in W-S (well that and the Krispy Kreme production line!)! The pictures they all drew were good, especially the one drawn by our "little lefty", Ellie!
