Sunday afternoon we discussed the possibility of the kids and I heading to Fort Wayne for the week to help Tom get some stuff done and let the kids play in some serious snow. I called Grandma and Grandpa on Monday and we headed out Tuesday morning after packing a few (maybe a lot) of things. The kids become more and more excited as we got closer. Just south of Fort Wayne it looked like people had 2-3 inches, as we got to Grandma and Grandpas, they had at least 10 inches (it is snowing more right now too). The kids are super excited as you can tell by their faces below. Caroline hasn't ventured out to enjoy her first snow yet. We are having a great time enjoying the snow and some great time with Grandma and Grandpa.

Dixie D Dog was pretty excited to see us again. She has been staying with grandma and grandpa and she loves it here, I think it makes her feel young again to run around outside so much!
Ellie got a little buried in the snow just trying to walk in it. She loves it in short spurts.

Wow, what fun! I'm jealous...for sure! But then again, I'd prefer not to have 10 inches of snow!
